Welcome to 2011! It’s never to late to join Lake Grove MOPS. If you have been thinking about checking us out or have a friend or family member who might be interested in learning about our group, now is great time to do so. We love to meet new moms, see new faces in Thursday’s Kids, and connect with other women who are sharing in the same season of life with little ones. No matter what time of the year, new moms are always welcome! The MOPS theme this year is Momology: The Art and Science of Mothering and is filled with educational, inspirational, and encouraging topics, speakers, and parenting support.
Lake Grove MOPS has exciting events, meeting topics, and projects planned for the coming year, so be sure to check out our calendar. You can learn more about Lake Grove MOPS, too, by reading through our newsletters and welcome packet. Our next meeting is Thursday, January 6 from 9:30-11:30. We’ll hear a presentation from Alexandra Kuykendall called “Circle: Engaging in Healthy Relationships.” By understanding and investing in our circle of relationships (spouse/parenting partner, extended family and friends, acquaintances, neighbors, care providers) we create a web of support.
